What or who is hidden behind this name?

Dreams of reality is a little hobby breed of Persian cats. The breeder is Ursula Efker.

This small breed started as like many people with a cat that should experience the happiness of motherhood, before being sterilise. During a cat show I asked what I had to do to breed Persian cats. I joined a cat club and applied for my kennel name.

I then looked for a suitable tom cat. Now the cat just had to get on heat. Finally the day came! I brought the cat to the tom cat, and indeed  65 days after the planned pairing, 5 healthy kittens were born. Until then everything happened just as I had been informed, but as we knows life is not easy. I had no idea, and the mother no milk!

What now?

 I inquired about all appropriate possibilities of breeding, by asking the vet and other breeders. I took my years vacation in May, and started  the  mother role, of feeding the kittens with a bottle, at first  every 2 hours (even at night) later every 4 hours. My ambitions grew to save all the kittens. It was God knows, not easy, but all 5 kittens survived.

 Of course I kept the first born cat, and called her Candy.

All this happened in 1987 !

That is how my Hobby bread started.
